"An attempt was made to logon, but the network logon service was not started."
OK, maybe I wasn't an idiot, as the second tech guy checked that my account was "unblocked." But I still felt like it. Yes, I know the company email server was down and routers were acting funny. I hate feeling like a typical Luser. But deadline pressure sometimes does that to the brain.
Oh, and hey; the computer might find that network directory faster if I plug in the ethernet cable, huh?
