08/15/2004 Entry: "Spelunking Amidst The Library Stacks."

When I first told The Roommate that I was moving in with The Boyfriend, I said that it didn't feel "real" yet. We wondered if it would feel real when I told our landlord. He joked that it would really feel real when I posted about it here.

But coming from the Boyfriend's (soon to be our) house, where he's clearing rooms to make way for my stuff, I return to the apartment where all our stuff is starting to precipitate in tall stacks of cardboard boxes, stalagmites of media. And I can say that this makes it all seem very real. I'm a little nervous, a little excited, and a lot concerned that we have way too many books.

But if anyone reading this is interested in a free desk or two, or a bookcase, let me know.
