Child of God.

Child of God. It's good to have a mantra. (Link from Jill Matrix)

Way too much time in the dark.

Actually, it's not the dark, it's that the seats at the Castro Theatre aren't the most comfortable in the world. But I would be intimately familiar with them if I went to see all 23 movies I marked for the 25th Annual International Lesbian and Gay Film Festival. I think I need to edit my list a little. (To warn you, though, their online catalog this year uses frames in a really dumb way. Bleah.)

23 movies? That's more movies than I see all year! I can probably manage 10 or so. Though I do have at least two friends who take those weeks off work, get festival passes, and see everything they can. Lat year one of these friends saw something like 46 films in ten days. The mind (ahem) reels....

Manifesto?

Manifesto. Manifesto. Manifesto. Manifesto. Manifesto. Manifesto. Manifesto. Manifesto. Manifesto. Manifesto. Manifesto. I think I need to write my own.

Your Decision.

Would you rather be right or would you rather be happy?

Totally turned off.

"Your score is 45: You are an average on-line user. You may surf the Web a bit too long at times, but you have control over your usage." (Link courtesy The Roommate.)

See? I can stop anytime I want to. I just don't usually want to. Tonight, though, diary entry be damned, I'm shutting off the Internet and going to bed. Doing my part to save electricity (snort!) and reduce emissions.

No, really, I'm turning it off any minute now....

Coming soon.

What Fassbinder film is it? The one-armed man walks into a flower shop and says: What flower expresses days go by, and they just keep going by, endlessly, pulling you into the future? Days go by, endlessly; endlessly pulling you into the future?

And the florist says: White Lily.

Say what now?

Now, I don't want to come off as anti-Pride or something. I mean, I have some issues about it of my own, but that's my trip, not someone else's. And if I care enough to complain, maybe I should care enough to get involved, huh?

But still..."Queerific"? How very '92.

(Bonus round: try and pronounce the acronym "SFLGBTPPC" without spitting on your monitor. Yikes!)

Who knows. Maybe this year I'll make that "Queer Goth Pride" t-shirt I've been threatening to make....
