10/06/2001 Entry: "Alive, yes. Living? Maybe."
As my mother asked yesterday, Yes, I'm alive; I've just not blogged because our DSL was out a couple times when I had something to say. Played bingo and had fun, played Alice and got frustrated, packed up all my stuff at work to move to a new office Monday, and slept for 12 hours the other day because I was a little sick and a lot tired. But I've surfed a little:
- Spent last night with The Maakies. Twisted and fun. I actually contemplated getting a Drinky Crow tattoo, but then that might have been the herbal tea talking.
- Had fun at the Switcheroo Zoo. I wanted to do something like this for a flash ad a long time ago; nice to see someone did it well.
- For some reason I needed (and found) a comprehensive history of the Psychological Attitudes towards Homosexuality. I didn't realize that ego-dystonic homosexuality (where the patient is distressed by their homosexual desires) was removed for a more general sex-related anxiety category in 1986. You learn something new every day.
- Highly amused at In Passing. I knew there had to be a good replacement for Lance Arthur's much beloved but defunct "Overheard."
