09/23/2001 Entry: "Man, It's So Loud In Here"

I haven't been moved much to write lately. Though I should mention that the Boyfriend and I saw They Might Be Giants last week. They've released a new CD/MP3 Collection Mink Car and are touring to support that. Great show...twenty years since their first single and they can still pack a theater. It should be noted that, coming from New York, they were scheduled to fly to Nebraska on September 11th. Oops. They cancelled some tour dates and drove across country, so I feel lucky to have caught them on what was basically their first show on the tour. (Note to They-heads: This was my first TMBG live show, and I'm still amazed that they performed Fingertips live.)
