05/10/2002 Entry: "How About Just 'Pretty Good?'"

Oh, and I forgot to mention that my niece's twins were born earlier this week. I'm now a Great Uncle. I don't know what's so great about it, for me or, more importantly, for them. Since I'm gay, could I be their Fa-a-abulous Uncle instead?

The twins, it should be noted, are named Anna and Ella, and it pleased my geeky little heart to no end that They named their twin children palindromic names in our palindromic year. Yes, yes, I know; hands down in the back. All week I've thought this. It wasn't until I started writing this post that I realized "Ella" isn't a palindrome and my point is essentially moot...Oh, isn't that just great?

I'll have to check with my mother...maybe it was actually "Elle." I'd rather be a geek instead of an idiot, but I may not have a choice in the matter here.

Oh, and not that I care if you read it, but I've written a new diary entry.

Fa-a-abulous Uncle? But you are Casey, you are a fabulous uncle!

Re: the diary entry. I thought I was alone amongst gay and gayish men in that I really do not enjoy the human telephone experience.
