In the office, Out of my head.

The cold medicine has done most of the talking today.

But I will add, you people are all moving way too fast. [Thud!]

Emphasis on the "No"

I'm trying to find some palatable use for this stuff...Tuno from Worthington Foods. Yes, another fine product from the makers of FriChik and Wham, and other quality, er, canned meat alternatives. Don't ask. Anyway, the stuff has the consistency of cat food and the smell of lightly mustarded schoolroom paste. It's...interesting? Sure, that'll work. What do you expect from a bunch of Seventh Day Adventists who are now part of Kelloggs? Sheesh.

These canned meat things are pretty good sometimes, but not as yummy as those recalled corndogs. I had a bunch of these last month, so if I sprout a few extra arms, you'll know why.

Oh, and in case you missed it, here's Vampi's Vegetarian Recipes. I've found a kindred spirit...

Games!

Still sick. Haven't had much energy for anything besides blowing my nose and occasionally reading the Web. So even if I haven't been playing games, I've been reading about them:

How to solve the New York Times Crossword Puzzle. I never knew that the crossword was harder on different days and that Saturday's was ususally the hardest. Will Shortz rocks my world; sometimes we'll wake up with NPR on the weekend just to hear the Morning Edition Puzzle and then go back to bed...

The Adaptation Game at myvideogames.com worked nicely in with the recent slashdot poll. Some nice articles at myvideogames, even if I think their URL is kinda tragic, in a Register-it! kind of way. This stuff immediately made me think of Seanbaby's NES pages, which made my afternoon less gloomy.

Ok, and I've played a little bit of games online. But only because Meg mentioned it. I had to post it, since I had a slot car racing set as a kid, but no cockatoo to play against.

A hypochondriac's wet dream.

I've been having really bad chills but my hypochondria is waning a little, and I'm not convinced it's meningitis. Give me a day or so and I'll figure out if it's this or more likely just this.

But most frightening of all, the man in this advertisement looks just like my dad.

Mostly dead.

No, not dead yet, just ill. A bad cold has hit me full force today. Earlier today I was just trembly and pre-sick. Tonight I'm actually full on waterworks sick. I'm hoping I don't give this to the Boyfriend and Roommate. I will likely be sick from work tomorrow.

OK, bed now, but I promised my mom I'd post a couple links for her that I missed, notably the Superhero generator and the second to last page of the internet, which is an appropriate link to close with, I think.
