03/01/2002 Entry: "Let's All Go To The Lobby."
Wednesday night's entertainment was the 76th Birthday of the Balboa Theater. A Buster Keaton's The General with a Felix the Cat cartoon, a magician, cake and wine afterwards, live music and more. $7.50 very well spent. And for their regular shows they always have double features. How can you go wrong there?

Twizzlers. I'm working on the theory that Red Vines are west coast and Twizzlers are east coast. I'm confident of that part. The theory part comes in when you try to put in the divider line in the middle of the country. I'm not sure if it is the Mississippi or the Rockies.

I'm a Twizzler boy, and I grew up in Illinois and Florida, but that doesn't really help define the dividing line.

Twizzlers. (Born and raised in D.C., you know -- thus are my allegiances laid bare.)
